The new Trav'ler was built in Taiwan in 1985.  I picked her up in Mid June of 2005.  She is a solidly built, blue water cruiser with a cutter rig.  The boat came well equiped including a below deck auto pilot and a windlass.  While certainly not a light air flier, she does fairly respectable in those conditions.  She is comfortable at sea and has plenty of teak above and below.
The Irwin 32, a 1973 model, is now in the hands of new owners who sail her out of Chicago.  She served me very well for a dozen years and I will always have fond memories of this boat.  She is powered by an Atomic 4, displaces 11,500 pounds, and is an extended fin keeler with tiller steering.  She is sloop rigged with a single spreader rig.  I found this boat to be a comfortable cruiser that had decent speed off the wind, but did not point real well and was not a good light air sailor.
